General description, scope and objectives of this webinar
The programme of this webinar will cover the developments in high risk breast cancer screening (i.e. except dense breasts). It is aimed at breast radiologists, radiology residents/juniors, medical or PhD students, nuclear medicine physicians or radiation therapists who want to improve their skills in:
- A risk-based approach to breast cancer screening for women at increased breast cancer risk based on their family history and/or gene mutation analysis.
- Implementation of the international recommendations and guidelines regarding high risk breast cancer screening in daily practice.
After watching the webinar, participants will be able to:
- asses the breast cancer risk of their patients.
- know the advantages of the different supplemental imaging modalities in high risk breast cancer screening.
